errr not exactly - what i have is 2 serprate stars (fixed the serials) and the need for a slap upside the head lol
A favorite teller saved me 3 recent $20 stars. Higher runs, so I let them go. Also got a 2001 $100 CF 04051589 * with a printing of 1.6M, circulated. Not sure if I should keep or not.
Ok, stats update. I've gone through $12.7k in $1 straps so far. Found 44 stars which works out to roughly 1 in 300. Found 2 radars as well, along with a few binary's and even more trinary's (as expected). Oldest found was a 1963 & 1963a, along with a few 1969's. Have found many from the 80's but curiously only 1 from the 70's.
you might find this interesting! I have a friend that,s brother is a armored truck Driver i think he works for either Brinks or Loomis one of the big ones! Talk about a "Money Collectors Dream" the notes he has access to WOW!! I think i need to have a serious talk with that boy!!
Just went through my 1st strap of 50 singles, found 1 star note! And two bills with consecutive serial numbers; all are clean and semi crisp too. =D
another starless day at the bank! i did find a b-day note F 1964-03-14 F and i found a 1988A note - D 80742011 A
Good Day For Paper! Bank run: QUESTIONS in between the pics... 10 Stars 2 1974 10s 2 1950 10s 2 ladders older one First pic: 4 2003 stars and 3 2006 stars Next: 3 older stars 2 ladders (my first) QUESTION: Are these just fun to collect or are they worth a premium at all? Also a 1988 (oldest one I've found) and another one that is almost a repeater......anyone consider it one? Finally four old tens: Please comment.....are these worth any premium? The 1950s have serious folds in them. Pretty good paper day, eh?
bobbeth - i really hate you at least NOW i know where all the star notes are going lol they are not at any of my banks thats for sure! All your stars look good, but your ladders are not ladders... just pretty cool serials #'s. as for value, i wont be able to look them up until tonight -- maybe someone else might be able to until then
Thanks, got it. I mistakenly just thought that it had to increase without thought to sequencially. Are the tens worth any premium?
1974 K block is worth $15 in EF, 1974 B block $15 in EF, 1950B K block is worth $20 in EF these are book values and not necessarily representative of recent or going retail values
went through $200 again today - not a single star note. what a bummer. I did find a note i am going to call a 'ladder skipper' and you can quote me on that so why is it a ladder skipper you ask? 2003A G 57185716 E a ladder would be something like 57185717 or some other multiple of 1 increment.... this note is 2 hey - i gotta find some fun in this some how lol i am certainly not finding stars
