Hello first timer, this is a SBA 1979 and far as I know there is no DBLD listed, but I am new don't even know if I have anything. Could anyone please tell me what this is and if it may be worth anything?
The mintmark could have been damaged in one of two ways: 1) The center post on the die which forms the middle of the "D" broke off allowing metal flow to fill the void. 2) It is merely PMD and the mintmark was mashed in some way. 3) I can't explain why 6 of the UFO's are in close formation while two are trailing behind. hahaa the ufo's were reflection from the light I just wanted it very close so one can see that the "D" mint mark is completely filled in. it is also raised up in the center. PMD huh. It really shows no damages or scratches I wish I knew how to get a better picture for ya all. again very high in he middle of the D Thank you for the response
