went through 2 rolls of halves and found a 1966 Half and a 1983D
Went and got $5 of pennies and found 1 rail splitter, 1 canadian comm., 1 1950D

I had the opportunty to go through a large cache of coins about to be taken to the bank for exchange. These were coins taken from change over the last several years, and not searched. I was surprised at how little there was:
$ 100 in pennies yielded:
4 wheaties
3 canadians
1 bahamas
1 english
2 2009 #2 (no cabins)

$ 75 in nickels:
1 wartime, 45-D
1 1940
1 1946
1 1952
1 canadian

$ 300 in dimes
1 silver (1962)
1 swiss 1/2 franc

$ 200 in quarters
1 silver (1948)
1 French franc

 

Searched two boxes of halves first one had 17 %40 silver halves! best box for me yet. Second only had one %40

 

3 40% ers in $270 of customer rolled. Most were another searchers dumps I think.

 

Went through $100 in Nickels and was pretty good I think. 1980 Juliana Koningin Der Nederlanden ( I have no idea what that is but cool find) 1937 Buffalo, 1943S silver, 1944P silver, a cool blue toned '05D Bison, and 5 that went into my circulated set album. I only need 25 to have a set all of which were found in rolls. I know it want be valuable but it is fun trying to complete. Does anyone ever find the '05 Speared Bison nickels roll searching?

My daughter searches nickels, and lacks about 20 coins - all from circulation, too.

 

Two more boxes today, and $25 in loose coin. All halves.

Found one '68d that had been colored on the side so that it didn't look silver!

Odder: STILL MORE UNC 1998D! I'm sick of these. I did sell a few rolls on Ebay, but for crying out loud, I'm looking for silver. To make it worse, many of the rolls I found today were polluted by one or two other coins. All in all about 90% of the second box was UNC '98D coins. Anyone need any???

 

Over the past couple of months, I've found about 4-5 Franklins. All but one are '63d. Anyone need to trade?

I was going though some boxes of half dollars and I found these one day.

20 90% kenedys
one 1925 stone mnt

How many boxes did that take and how recently? Awesome finds!

 

Now thats a GOOOOOOOD set of boxes!

 

That was from a batch of $5,000. I found most of those coins in 2 boxes.
That was April of this year.

Can't wait to open my boxes this weekend.....hopefully, they'll be better than my recent boxes....

 

finally i got a 2009 lincoln circulated cent. no dime and nickel yet. and it is easy to get quarter, half and dollar. simply buy it from the mint.

Ok I went to a bank and got 2 boxes of pennies. I looked at one and it had a seal on it that said The Royal Canadian mint! So I knew it came right from the mint! When I opened it every single coin was a 2008 and they look Unc.!!! Does anyone know if $25 dollars of 2008 Unc. Pennies are worth more than face value??

Yeah So it was pretty good!! So if you know how much $25 in Canadian 2008 Unc. Pennies are worth please post it here!!

The blank planchet is worth about 2 bucks. However, if it is copper (pre 1982.5), probably a little more. I have no idea about the Canadian UNC pennies....
