Went through a box of halves today found 3 %40 silver and 1 1964 silver half:goofer:!:eat:!:eating:

I went through $60 in nickels found 118 different dates and mint marks. I also found 5-40's including 3 silvers, and 9 -50's. I don't think the nickels hold up as well as the cents do, they are not as nice condition wise. I also don't know of any errors other than those in the red book so I don't cherry pick.
I also went through a box of pennies and only found 1 09Lincoln, which is unusual as I have been averaging 1 per roll.

i found a silver dime today in my change pretty cool

 

nice finds everyone i have not gotten any rolls in a while i will get back to it this week

 

Still waiting for my banks to get me some half boxes... they keep saying they are on the way.

I did find 26.50 in halves to look through:

No silver, but found an '05d and an '07d

Went through a box of nickels:
2x39
2x40
1x43P (35% silver)

Several other miscellaneous late forties and into the fifties. Also found one Panamanian Cinco Centavos and a Canadian.

Not too exciting. I hadn't seen a wartime silver one for a while, so I guess that's somethin'

Then I felt lucky and asked if they had any half Dollars rolls they said they had $130 worth I searched them all and found the following

I found a 1970D in a roll and its in UNC condition. What are the odds?

I was going to say the same to you Bobbeth, it looks like we had similar boxes. It was nice to find 2 Franklins in 1 box! Keep looking and congrats!

 

Well seems like the good luck runs in 3's. Went through 2 boxes of halves. First box no dice, second box I netted 14 40%ers and 3 64s. Plus I nabbed a 64 sitting in the tellers coin tray!!!

 

• I have been at this for a little less than a year I to have run into some incredable luck also. 12 boxes of halves: 47 40%rs and 3 64's. Customer wraped rolls and loose halves: 105 40%rs... 48 64's...50 Franklins and 85 Walkers!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:

 

wow and I've been searching Half Dollars for 5 months and I got a whole 7- 40% silver halves... LUCKY ME
