I can see the outline of Lincoln on the first picture. I've found cents like that before. It was likely left out in the elements and run over by a few dozen cars before being picked up and put back into circulation.

So I did my normal morning dump this morning and decided to hit up the nearby BofA to ask my favorite teller there for a couple boxes of dimes and asked if she had any halves. The teller next to mine had 7 Ikes so I snagged those. She was super grateful. When my teller came back with my dime boxes and said she had no halves. The teller I just bought the Ikes from said "I have $160 please please please take them!" So I obliged...:) My teller also had another $20 Ikes so I picked those up as well.
    Here are my results:
2 boxes of dimes - Still unsearched...
$27 Ikes - nothing major. Still need to search varieties...
    $160 Halves -
    11 Walkers( 18, 41, 42x2, 43x2, 44x3, 45,46)
    10 Bens(51d, 52. 58d, 62, 62d, 63x3, 63dx2)
    17 90% Kens(all 64p)
    49 40%(65x5, 66x7, 67x17, 68dx17, 69x3)

I did 3 boxes of dimes last night and each had one mercury dime and one pre-64.

    Today
    1 cent - 13 wheats
    1 nickel- 2 buffalo's, 40 pre '60
    1 quarter- 1 silver
    1 dime- 5 silvers

Just did another cent box and got 16 wheats and a 1929 Canadian, anyone know dates to keep on Canadian cents? It's the oldest I've ever seen

I don't know what the rare dates are for Canadian cents but considering Canada no longer mints cents and is actively withdrawing them from circulation, my advice is to keep any pre-1970 Canadian cent in 'nice' condition and any other cent from that country if it is in AU condition or above.

Btw, finding a Canadian cent from 1929 is a great find. I have kept stats from searching approximately 1,040 rolls of cents and the oldest Canadian cent I have found dates to 1963.

Worked through a box of cents this weekend:

    16 Wheats: 26, 28, 37, 38, 41, 42-D, 44 (x2), 45, 47, 48, 51, 55, 57 (x2), 57-D

    and $40 of nickels:

    39, 40, 41, 47, 52-D, 53, 54-S, 57-D, 58-D, 59-D

Not my best haul ever, but it kept me occupied for a few hours.

Thanks! I bet it will never happen again. I took the Ikes that came with that score and turned them into some mega millions tickets lol. After all the things I've found this weekend(the halves, a 72 DDO#7 cent, 1983 DDR#2 cent, a 1983 CUD cent, and a 1903 IHC) I figured I was hitting a lucky streak :)

You had a great weekend my friend, I hope it continues. Have you thought of telling those tellers to hold the halves for you because they may let someone else have them if they ask first? Couldn't hurt to try. Also nice cent finds as well.
