A good strike adds value to a coin as it can be a deciding factor between eye appeal. So post your morgan certified or raw.

I guess its struck ok for a New Orleans mint morgan, but if you want to look at Morgans that were struck great look at the early San Fran mint morgans

I would NOT call that a superb strike. It is an average New Orleans strike.

Now this one I would call a strong strike for New Orleans, but it is graded PL I find this to be one of my better struck Morgans:

pictures do not do it justice. I'm no expert coin photographer. I'm still working on that.

I hope it is the photo, but the Eagle's breast looks featherless. That is why I thought "weak strike."

it has full feathers. Glare is hiding that.

Okay, just trying to be helpful. You gotta get better pictures, as I know you sell coins. I wouldn't have gone for that coin from that picture, and I am your market in Morgans.

Any suggestions on improving picture quality? I have a good stock of morgans right now.

What kind of camera are you using?

I don't know why, but I can't see a single photo. All I see is the danged "X Box". Let's see if the same thing happens to my photos.

This is an 80-S PCGS MS65DMPL. Please ignore the scratches on the slab.

    Chris

Nope! It won't let me access the "Upload a File". Is this a counterfeit thread from Shanghai?

Everybody loves a good Morgan! Here is an MS-66 I sold a couple weeks ago, the strike isn't stellar but I believe the overall condition was pretty good for the grade.

Okay! Try again! I had to close CT altogether and reopen it.

This is my 1880-S PCGS MS65DMPL. I also have an 1880-S PCGS MS66, but I think the 65DMPL actually looks better. Please disregard the scuff marks on the slab.
