62 proof I nabbed for face, bounced outta it's flip at the bottom of the dealers junk bin.
Can't beat face for a proof, maybe a PF63? I think I did the scratches on the rev fotoing it

Hope this one isn't getting old. I have to fight with the camera next week for new picks. Got some nice new coins, including a buff to upgrade a random one in my type set. 1913 buffalo obverse.JPG 1913 buffalo revese.JPG

I just got two different war nickles from a buddy, one of them appears to be a proof 1944 its perfect and flawless the other i believe to be 1943/2 according to picture comparison. i also have many nickles i believe to be errors, i am new at this and would like to get a more professional oppinion

There were no proof nickels made in 1944. The only proof war nickels in existence are dated 1942-P. You probably just have an uncirculated 1944 war nickel. Do you have a photo of the 1943/2-P? They are pretty rare and quite valuable. Be careful, there is a variety of the 1943-P that has a diebreak extending from the tip of the bottom curve of the 3 which mimics the diagonal of a 2, but it is not the real deal.

Ooooh, a 1945-P TDR. That is the only Jefferson War Nickel Variety that I don't own. Great example dwhiz!
