Wow, now that is a premium coin. Never owned one quite that nice, (owned two 68s, but not looking like that) especially in a lovely tone like that. WOW!
Well, I just made my first purchase from a member here, kryptonitecomics. Been bidding and losing on his stuff for a few months. Not sure how the coin will look in-hand, but he seems to have top notch coins and photos from all the auctions I lurk on. I will post my own pics as soon as the coin comes in. Got it for $59.00 shipped, which is a good deal providing the toning is not totally unattractive. I am thiking it will be nice. Sellers photos: kryptonitecomics, if you happen to see this post, thank you!
Nice one MD, I have been trying like crazy to get a decent one at a decent price for the last few weeks with no luck. Maybe I will get lucky here soon.
I bought that one about 6 years ago. It is an XF 45 PCGS, and it was fairly reasonable, given the date. I had "key date" withdrawal after selling my full Morgan set, and got that one in New York, during a vacation trip.
This Morgan is amazing - I will buy one of these but MS61 or MS62 AND not today -The MS63 = something around $ 2,000 !
Not quite that much. I think more like $1500 or so. I have owned that one for a long time, and didn't pay anything close to that when I got it years ago. It is one of the few I kept after selling the big collection.

Wow, people are way overpaying. I got it in an estate sale a long time ago. Price guide tends to be high anyway. Either that, or that date has taken a huge jump up. WOW!
So far this bad boy is the only coin I've gotten back from grading. I've got another just like it, and several more CCs out for grading.
Here a 1885-O But what Vam is it I been to all the Vam site and have not found one that looks even close to this one?
I agree. Yesterday, we spoke about a die crack, or some extra metal adhering to the die from a previous coin, prior to the strike.
