You know... I do a lot of dime and half roll searching (when I have the money) and never found any silver. I think my town is somebody's dump bank(s).
Hey Jello, Your 1929-S (small) isn't even listed in my 2012 Red Book. Am I missing something? Is there a better listing somewhere of small and or micro S's? zeke
A lot is a matter of perspective. I probably do around $3k a week in halves, $2k a week in dimes, and $500 a week in nickels. I find an "okay" amount of silver. Killer luster on that '16, ldhair... I'm gonna guess that's a 66?
ff-topic: I think Red book has listed a *noted on page Cents & Dimes large& small S mint marks 1928,1941-42 & Mercury Dime the only micro S for 45. + Cherrypicker Guide vol#4 has 1928-S listed .but the new vol#5 will have 1926-30-S listed as large & small die variety's. that what was in a online news letter I get.but no date was listed as when the new vol #5 Cherrypicker Guide will be out. I would post it but I think it is copyrighted so that why I didn't try find it to post it.
I might have to get one of these new cherry picker guides. Are they pretty useful generally or are they more geared to extreme variety collectors?
ff-topic: Its one book that well worth the money.:thumb: Can also pay you back the $40.00 dollars you will pay for a new one.but as soon as the new one is out you pick a used one for less than $40.00.:thumb:
