Some call them folders, others albums or books. In another thread someone mentioned how much effort goes into completing a folder. I could not agree more. Post your up-to-date, completed, or completed minus that one key date folder. Let’s see your hard work! :thumb:
Presidential Dollars are overlooked by many. Love em’ or hate them, they are here to stay. A complete uncirculated set will be very impressive in the future. I am currently working on 2 folders. I chose the Sterling folders because of their “Presidential” look. Up to date through 2012.
Poking away at the Dansco album. I've got a lot of halves in mint cellos that haven't gone in yet, but I'm waiting on some slabs so I can do comparative grading...
After the State Quarters, a lot of collectors fell off, but the new America The Beautiful Quarters have spectacular designs. Currently working on 2 sets of these as well. The Cornerstone folders have clear plastic pull-outs that let you view both sides of each coin. The folder has an error though. Each side of a page is marked P&D, but when you turn the page your Philadelphia quarter is marked Denver. I have heard that newer printings are corrected. Still these are great folders packed with lots of information about the state parks, and well made. – Completed through 2012.
I like the look of the Cornerstone folders very much. I was tempted to get a few recently when I came across them at an LCS, but I resisted - gotta stay focused.

When the Sacagawea dollars came out they were to be the new Susan B. Anthony’s. In 2009 they became Native American dollars. I flip the Denver’s in my folder to show the different reverse designs. Completed through 2012.
A lot of coin collectors today got the bug by collecting wheat pennies. My Great Grandmother used to have the best change jars, and would let me hunt through them for whatever I was looking for. If only I had known to pull the silver out back then! :headbang: This set has nice PDS steels in place, and some rusted ones in the blank spots at the end.
I have full sets of PF69 Presidental Dollars and Sacagawea Dollars through 2012.... will have to photograph them. They are not in folders though....all in slabs, mostly NGC.
State Quarters The State Quarters Program has drawn a lot of attention to coin collecting. I read that the US Mint estimated that 147 million people were collecting State Quarters in 2008. Wall maps were made for the coins to go in, plaques, several different folders. Here are some of mine:
It's hard to get good photos of albums/folders. But here is page 1 from my peace dollar album with a close up of the 24. I've got a photo of p2 somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up and post it.
