awesome. Ken the store we went to has so many different kinds to choose from. are you looking for some that you want/need ?
I don't think I'm allowed to post a link. Just google Shibe Mint. I think he's going to take orders for a second batch of silver 100 Doges pretty soon.
thanks but no, whenever i'm window shopping online an i come across copper rounds, if i see a design that catches my eye i'll buy a few, the tubes are zombucks, i hand those out at b-days an for stocking stuffers for kids in family, they get a kick out of them....
May I ask us there much of a value deference between 95% copper like pennies before 1982 and .999? Just wondering Sent from my Z750C using Tapatalk
Here's my copper bullion: 3.5 lbs. Picked them up for $5 at a yard sale last summer. (Less than melt value!) I thought I did "OK" until I saw how much they sell for in a hardware store. They're $12-15 each! Anyone know what the purity on these is? They aren't stamped.
.999 copper bullion is not good as an investment, a 1 lb bar will cost around $10 an copper is only like 3 dollars an change per lb at scrapyards, copper cents however are worth about 2.5 times face value for copper content, but it is illegal at this time to melt them..
my other (3) 1 oz'ers. and a 10 oz. natural native Copper nugget from Keweenaw Peninsula Michigan I bought off Ebay for 1 of my girlfriends b-day gifts.
a link to how these might be made.. link: http://www.ehow.com/info_12146972_copper-pipe-made.html they might have traces of nickel and tin but most are 99.9 pure copper.
Blaubart. here's a picture of a copper tube coffee table I saw on Ebay that I kept and thought you would enjoy seeing it. I forget how much it was and how long it took the guy to make it. it's not mine. He also made 2 smaller but higher end tables and both came with a glass top. total cool copper:
I wonder how strong it is. It seems the top is one single line of copper pipe. I suspect they could have made it a bit stronger by adding some T's to unify it.
Mort Reed produced something similar in 70's called Numistamps. I believe they were pewter. http://www.timepassagesnostalgia.com/&pm=0&searchkeywords=Numistamp&sin=f443
