Sooo, I was just going through a stack of roosies that I have had for almost 19-20 months. They are all graded by PCGS, I paid $2.00 each and then $15-20 for the grading (I don't remember exactly). The reason I got them graded is because they all had beautiful toning and they looked to be higher end BU coins. I was just going through them, looking them up to get ready to sell them, and found out I have a really nice coin! I have a 1957 MS67FB, which PCGS says is worth $3,250!! The only auction record I could find was a teletrade auction on 08-2010 for an NGC coin that sold for $1,323. Apparently the PCGS pop report says there are only 4 MS67s graded as full bands. Not a bad purchase for less than $25! If anyone has any additional information about this condition rarity, I would love to hear it.
I am not sure if this 2012-P that I got a Bu Bank roll with 4 more just like it in MD or Real Doubling but U tell me????
There was just an article in coins magazine about top pop roosevelt dimes with FB designation and how much the premiums can reach. Apparently they are quite scarce and actually fully struck FB clad roosevelts bring higher premiums. This is of course the opinion of coins magazine and not at all first hand experience and regarding your particular coin nice score....
2012-P I will LGL asap? Link to CT post update some how went Dead on 12/06 Peter T Davis is working on my feeds.
