Am also amazed how Steve finds that many serial numbered 12 notes. I would think it is a very difficult thing to do.
The one that got away......http://www.stacksbowers.com/browseauctions/lotarchive.aspx?AuctionID=6008&Lot=3335 The lot estimate was $3,000 - $4,000 , and it ended up going for over $8,000 !
I just bought these two $5 silver certificates from a forum member. I'm just waiting for them to come in. Series 1934-A: Series 1953: I bought these because my boss found a Series 1963 United States Note (red ink rules) and my mom found a Series 1950 Federal Reserve Note so I wanted to go for the trifecta. He offered both bills and I couldn't turn them down.
Thanks to Bonniview, who hooked me up! And many... many more. Including super radars. Couldn't thank the guy enough.
My latest addition to my serial #12 collection. It's hard to find them on $2's... This is a modern star, but a very tough district. Seems like everybody has the $50 JG* from the Chicago district, but the JK* (Dallas) is hard to find. This 2009 $1 Dallas Star was just printed in February....
Found this on ebay today, 2006 $20 almost solid 5's. I reached my limit of offer's http://www.ebay.com/itm/solid-seria...038?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item258c8d2436
Just won this bad boy a few days ago. Not in hand yet. But one step closer to completing the large size $1 type set.
