  5. I too have one of the Allied issued German note...mine was brought back from the war by one of my relatives who served...I had 4 in WWII and three of them could have brought it back (the 4th was in the Coast Guard and did not go to Europe)

    Whoever it was also brought back a French issue...

    They are very cool notes...I like how square they are...when you think about it, most notes are rectangular, but not these. I recently found out there were issues for Italy, I will have to add one of them to my collection at some point. My family was in the US by WWI, let alone WWII, but I still most closely associate with my Italian heritage!

  7. Yup, that's it! Visually the Italian issue isn't anywhere near as exciting as the two I have, or the Japanese version you posted previously, but it's still high on my world note want list!
