  3. Undervalued is such a broad term. I think Ramen noodles are undervalued compared to their taste. :D

  4. Which is why I was going to post a series, but who would have thought it's the series I collect! :D

I think any of the Deep/Ultra Cameo proof coins from 1950 - 1964 are a good investment.

You just gotta know how to make them!

I make a breakfast stew by first bringing a pot of chicken ramen noodles to a boil. I added a hefty spoon of corned beef hash, a slice of Kraft American cheese, and a scrambled egg. Simmer until done, then top off with a spritz of Frank's Hot Sauce...Mmmmm Good!!!

I'd say Jefferson's too obviously. Then Franklin Halves. If you don't have these, they won't put you in the poor house.
You can at least justify paying a little over spot and get decent gem Unc Franklins that should hold thier own even if silver drops.

You really lost me when you said Kraft cheese. If i were going to do that, would at least use cheese, not a cheese product. :(

OK...you can substitute Velveeta if you like...it blends in nice & easy, too. :eating:

Again, i said CHEESE. Read the labels sometime, velveeta is half water. :(

  12. I like REAL cheese...

    Barber halves...

Don't collect them...They aren't worth more than face.

    :D

There has been a trend towards circulated grades for
awhile now. Clearly collectors see the declining
marginal returns to grading, which accelerate
In MS grades. And of course cost benefit analysis
and risk/reward ratios have become the new cool.
    Yeah right.

I never tried the breakfast stew idea. But I made
cold bacteria die of freight by putting a teaspoon
of Frank's in cup of hot water, diced onions and
    a shot of Schnapps.

Was right with him up the the "Kraft" slice as has been said that is NOT cheese! I won't even start in on Velvetta (cheesefood at best) but a nice slice of Hoffmans supersharp and you got a good sounding B-fast though I still prefer frozen chicken sandwiches better (also doused in frank's)

hey guys, I was thinking of maybe trying the V nickels or the flying eagles, based on recommendations here.

First, the Dansco albums are the way to go, right? And second, for getting started, can you recommend a good place to get a "grab bag" of these?
