Mager and Assoc 1 oz silver bar

This bar was in my dads stuff. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it essentially just worth its silver content?

This is a rare bar, you don't see those everyday. Last one identical to yours sold at ebay auction for $36 in August 2013, but I think if you list a buy it now format, and wait some time, you can get bit more for it. There's people who collect these silver bars and would pay huge premiums. Seen 1 oz silver bars sell for hundreds. Yours I expect to sell in the $4o to $50 range.

what search term did you use? I couldnt find any sold auction. I found two current (last week) auctions for other mager bars. I had this one listed last week at 50 obo. I only had one offer just above 20, which I didn't accept.

This here sold last August on ebay.

Don't expect to sell that too fast for 50, it may take months.

 

I don't know why I couldnt find it. I tried searching "mager" etc.
