About half a week ago I posted a picture of the 1956 Lincoln Proof Cent roll that I gambled on on eBay for $160, hoping for some nice toners. Well, I definitely got more than I bargained for! Not only did I get some nice toners, I managed to find not one, not two, but FOUR 1956 DDO's in the roll (they are the first DD's I've ever found while roll searching :yes. Very pleased with the results. Below are pictures of the best toner of the lot (off to robec soon), and close ups of one of the DDO's. Toner: DDO:
my girlfriend is an owl person so she saw it and i bought it. after searching around some discovered it is franklin mint which i am not to fond of but its hers and it is silver
I was in Indy for Thanksgiving, so I stopped at Lost Dutchman and got some new coins: If you can tell, this 1953-S Roosevelt has mulriple die cracks on the reverse. At this point in time, I am pretty pleased with these pics, especially considering they are cell phone pics.
I know I should stick to the foreign area to which I belong:nerd: but could not resist. Bought in early 2012: circulating trade coin known as an "An Owl", also it's silver too!
That has a great obverse and reverse! I saw one in an old auction catalog and if they are even a similar coin, it is gonna set me back when I finally do find and purchase one.
I just sniped this off eBay....:sniper:... :secret: I think its going to look alot better in hand then the crappy seller pics even better it wasn't even listed as toned, i wont say how much i paid for it but lets just say i even donated $1 to the world food org.
