just back from PCGS ! just had these two crossed to PCGS. The 1937D 3 Legged was in an ANACS holder VF20 and the 29D was in an NGC MS63 holder. As you can see the 37D 3 legged crossed at VF20 and the 29D got a 63+ designation.
I really thought thet the SLQ looked good for the grade when I bought it. I was hoping for MS64. but I'm ok with the plus! It's also interesting that the population for a 29D in 63 plus is 1.
Lol that just means you can put it on eBay as a unique very rare coin, you should probably start the bidding around seven million....
A couple raw quarters off the bay... 1939-D Paid 65 money... looks like a solid 65. Expecting blazing luster. 1941-D I like this album toning. Beautiful fields. It's such a shame this coin has vampire bites on the portrait. Such a clean planchet with a nice strike... Was listed for high-side 65 money and I paid high side 64 money. I think it's a nice 64.
i bought some some junk today but the girl got this. she started a capped dime set but appearently wants to start a capped half dime set as well
Give her time. The more she gets into coins, the more she'll want to know and associate with other numismatists.
oh she knows. i am more 1892 and after while she is 1891 and before, with the exception of dollars. so it actually works out for us because we both know what the other doesnt
That is way cool. My wife has always supported me, but it has only been recently that she is starting to get into it a little more. She is really enjoying getting into the large cents with me. While at the lcs on Saturday, she said she loved hearing me and the lcs guy discuss coins. I figure that was pretty good for a girl who is fashion oriented.
