So far really nice stuff all around. I do love mercs and bust halfs. Gbroke, that is a really nice shield nickel - it seems to be an underappreciated design
I'm pretty sure this is the Small Letters Variety, but PCGS decided not to say since it's an error coin:

I love the 1806 HC. I'm going to set my sights on one for a type set next. The 1883 shield nickel is superb. Beautiful example of the no cents variety. I'm surprised NGC didn't put a PL label on it. Mike, that's an outrageous 1905 IHC. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Picked this up on a whim a couple months ago on a Heritage auction. Nothing special, just caught my eye.
Double curved clip on Buffalo Nickel - unusual :rollling: Hard to find double curved clip buffalo nickel.
jerry: Um, I would get those out of those (not third tier, but 6th tier) holders. Cheapest option? ANACS
Sorry, I'll pass on that ... I own that company and it's the same as with the Majors ... YOU BUY THE COIN - NOT THE SLAB. EYES grade PCGS coins and EYES graded these coins. If people think they are overgraded - SEND EM BACK --- If they think they are undergraded - YOU SQUEAL WITH JOY. Are the major slabbing companies PERFECT --- absolutely NOT. They make errors. No one is perfect - We have ALL seen major slabbing grading errors and always will - NO ONE, EVEN US, IS PERFECT. And, by the way, I have lots and lots of satisfied customers. Our EYES are just as good as their EYES. Simple as that. A slab is basically a protection for the coin. The grading on ALL slabs is just someones opinion ... as is ours. PLUS: What is the difference if I put the coin in a flip, or a 2X2 and mark the same grade on it ... does that make it more trustable?????? It's just a security and safety holder ... simple as that. And, I have been grading coins since I was 15 years old and am now 74 years old. I do have a little experience. All our company graders are over 60 years old (one is 82) and have been grading coins for decades ... raw grades and now slab grades. It makes no difference ... it is just someones opinion ... Majors and/or Minor grading companies ... all the same.
Here are my newps. I went to the shop for a AGE, but instead got the $20 Lib for just a few dollars more. Quite baggy, but good strike and luster. Same thing with the $10 - bought for $20 above melt. I like to buy a nice Morgan now and then to check for VAMS, no luck with this one. Finally the Pan-Pac, always one of my must-haves, but usually WAY out of my price range. Saw this one in a Bowers and Merena auction, placed a bid and it stuck. Looks cleaned, but there is a ton of raised die polish. Examined by a professional who thought it would slab, but if it goes in a details slab I won't be too disappointed. Pictures are still in the flip.
