This is my very favorite. My grandmother sent me one every year for three years in my birthday card starting when I was six years old. I have had them over 60 years. All the gold in Fort Knox could not buy them.

These are two of many. I have so many toners that I love, it is impossible to choose.

When I saw this PCGS graded MS67 1917 Type 1 SLQ, I fell in love with it.

Usual American bias here so I thought I would post some British ones. Then I couldn't pick just one, so here are 4 of my favourites:

1847 Victorian Gothic Crown - one of the handsomest coins ever produced in GB.
1723 George I Crown - I can't say he is pretty, but if you knew how hard I had to fight to get this one...!
1653 Commonwealth Shilling - wonderful interlude in British history represented by this.
~1550 Edward VI Shilling - one the earlier coins to actually represent the character of the monarch, and Edward VI was the youngest head depicted on a GB coin.

Great coin. That Dietz collection was a good group. I packaged the whole thing, so I've looked at them pretty closely. Yours is one of the nicer tetradrachms in the sale.

Here's one of my all time favorites, and one of my tokens as well. The gold coin is really rare with only 300 proofs minted. :thumb:
