Since no Half Cents were minted in 1837 some of us Half Cent collectors use this token as a "hole filler". It's a quality strike and looks similar to one. I like yours Idhair. Any idea what's going on with the rim below "1837" ?

I love this design and decided to buy one in proof. To my surprise upon receiving it, there is a nice amount of color/toning on it as well. I plan to have this imaged by a pro in 2014.
