Indiana state quarter with the D missing from Indiana on reverse. Is it a common error? No picture yet but will try to post when i get one.

More than likely a "struck through grease" coin. while they garner interest, non are typically treated as true error coins with numismatic value. Unless, of course, they are really clean and grade relatively high.
Still waiting to see the coin again to get picture to post. I think this quarter will be for sale. I will post that info when i post the picture. Thank you very much for the info. John
