Hi can anyone please tell me what this coin is i found in my garden?

    Hi,
    can anyone please tell me what this coin is i found in my garden?.ive not got a clue about coins.........thanks everyone

    Well, it is not a coin, but rather a pendant or medal for wearing around the neck.

    The obverse shows St. George slaying the dragon. latin inscription "St georgius Just? Tronus"
    The Reverse Inscribed "Securitate in Tempestate" Losely translated as as Safety/Security
    in Times of Peril.

    How Old? Sorry, i have no idea, but thse used to be popular in the 18th/19th century.
