    chrsmat71 I LIKE TURTLES!

i thinking that's a fake coin also...one of the greek experts could probably tell you what it is imitating. most of these seem to have artemis on the obverse.

Head looks like a coin from Phillip, but reverse says Alexander. From that and the flan, I also would vote fake, but I am not a real expert in them.

Yes. A modern fake copying the following type.

Alexander son of Neoptolemos, Calabria Tarentum, AV Stater
Obv:- Head of Zeus Dodonaios right, wearing oak wreath
Rev:- AΛEΞANΔPOY TOY / NEOΠTOΛEMOY above and below spear head and thunderbolt

The style is so incorrect, that I don't think it was meant to deceive. Probably a tourist gift shop trinket?
