I am planning on doing about 5 of these a week but i am adding a little more fun to it you will be guessing the grade and the most resent auction price for the coin !!! This will be a load of fun happy holidays!! Coin is a 1942 Walking Liberty Half dollar in an older ngc holder. I allowed multiply responses so you can answer each part under the same poll !!

I just want to be different, I'll guess 66 at $140 to $150

if this coin hits ms, I'd be shocked, reverse has feather missing in eagles breast, and in lower leg too, thats why I said unc details

There is a slight rub on the eagles chest but we live in a world of market grading where they will dismiss that in a second , I still say 65 , 64 at the lowest . I have a 66 PCGS where there is wear on her breast , but it has the luster and clean fields as does this coin , and it seems the tpgs like luster more than a slight rub spot . JMHO .

I understand that, but theres noway to get around the missing leg feathers, thats wiped pretty clean off the leg

But they are not worn off. That is the strike.

That's one well struck Walker , but you can't compare the two because the leg is usually like the ops coin on most coins in MS grades . That coin almost looks like it was struck with proof dies or at least brand new dimes . It's like comparing apples to oranges . I wonder what it grades as that's the one of the best struck Walkers I've seen .

Not sure what you are trying to show with the 68, but here is a 64 with more than a feather missing.
