Which of the 2 coins below do you think it's fake (if any?). Remember, they could be both authentic, both be fake, or just one be fake.

I think they're both fake. The left is definitely a fake and the one on the right is a bit better but looks too much like a proof to be genuine.

    1 is fake, guaranteed!

  6. Blaubart

    Blaubart Melt Value = 4.50

#1 is fake, no doubt about it.

    #2 is possibly a genuine 1989 proof.

1 looks terrible. I would need to see the obverse of 2 to be sure.

Something just looks very wrong about the veins in the leaf in #1 (too thick and too highly raised). The stem of the leaf doesn't have the slight "hook" that it should either. Not really going out on a limb lol but I'm going with #1 being fake. Can't see any significant problems with #2.

  10. Coin #1 is fake. Coin #2 is the real deal. TC

  11. Both are fake. Look at the rim on 2 its all different thicknesses, a lot thicker in some.

That's probably just the fault of an angled photo and cropping.

coin #1 can be bought from a bubblegum machine for $.50.

  14. Look between oz and argent that bulge seems too big to be camera angle

Left is definitely fake and the right is probably fake with that uneven rim .

There is no uneven rim, that's just the angle and the airtite holder the coin is in. I will leave this open until afternoon for more people to vote.

Just curious, but is #1 silver? It looks like it could be aluminum.
