Gold coin on Pawn Stars

    This is why...

    ...I've always said Pawn Stars is fake.

    Remember the episode where the gang bought a beat up Coke machine and had it restored? Here's the before and after pics. These are two different Coke machines!!!

    And if you watched the episode the "restorer" talked about all the changes he made to the machine. He didn't really restore it, he created a "*******ized" machine that a serious Coca-Cola memorabilia collector would recognize and shy away from. His machine looks nice and would probably be salable to a novice, but a serious collector would make either a low or no offer on it.

    As to colluding with the experts in order to buy something real cheap, you forget that these experts also have a reputation to protect. There is no way they would go on TV and deliberately low ball the value so they could split the profits with Rick.

    Do the "ballistic rolls" and the gold boxes somehow enhance the value of the (common) coins they contain?
