going to the bank, will post finds later today!

    so, today i will be going to the bank to get some rolls. first time in a while (cant wait) i will be posting the results here later. here is my planned rolls i want:
    1 roll of quarters
    25 rolls of nickels
    6 rolls of dimes
    14 rolls of cents

    hope i get some silver out of those dime and nickels! :D i also want to see a few buffs and wheats.
    lets hope i get some!

    save your 2009 nickels they only made 42 million of then 1 2009 nickel is about $1 on ebay

    i have the results in! i will post them in the next two hours.
    change of coin plans though:

    110 in dimes
    60 in nickels
    20 in quarters
    20 in halves
    10 in cents

    some very nice finds, and one silver!
    no buffs though, all jeffs. :(

    nice job im going to the bank to day im getting 4 rolls of nickels 4 rolls of dimes and 8 rolls of cents

    i have seen quite a lot of MDD dimes and cents.
    but i also have a few suspected error coins. :arghh:
    so i will be posting those soon.

    MMD? MDD stands for machine doubled die.
    yeap, there are a lot of MDDs in the cents as well.

    Machine doubling has nothing to do with a die. It's simply machine doubling (MD).

    Correct. It's mechanical/machine doubling caused by a die striking a coin, and then moving slightly (usually due to the die being loosely installed). This causes the die to strike the coin again; lightly enough for it to not leave another strike on the coin, but hard enough so that it flattens part of the design, giving it a doubled appearance.

    um, all that i have found:
    2 rolls of halves:
    1 2005 p
    2 rolls of quarters:
    have not checked for errors, but other than that, a skunk.
    22 rolls of dimes:
    1 silver and several suspected errors, thread will be up soon. still searching. and 1 British 5 pence
    30 rolls of nickels:
    almost 40 pre-64, plus filled my last two remaining Jeff nickel spots for my Jeff nickel collection 1938-1996!
    10 rolls of cents:
    >100 pre-82 cents, 1 wheat cent, 1 Canadian penny, 1 British penny, and multiple suspected errors. still searching.

    whats funny is that they had to give me 10 dollars back cause' i flushed out all their coins.
    BTW, do you need an account to trade cash for coins at a bank?
