That is a sharp looking 34 - and a nice picture to boot.

Yes thanks. I'm using a Canon DSLR with Tamron macro lens connected to Mac laptop via USB. I manual focus, see the effect on my screen, adjust aperture and speed on my screen and take pic by clicking the mouse. I love it, but I've created a big project to re-shoot my favorite coins.

    Yes.
I know I wouldn't be happy if somebody posted one of my coins on a site. (Unless asked for permission and gave me credit)

Post coins from your own collection.

1934 buffer nick. Looks to have suffered a staple scratch on the reverse.

34-S Walker. Todd had a tough time imaging this one.

Wow. That sure is a nice 34-S. Back in the late 80's I look for one for 3 years in BU. Finally bought one in an national auction. I few years ago I sent it to PCGS. Came back a 64. I'm jealous.

Thanks, Jerry. This coin was a big upgrade for me that I am very happy with.

Paul, that Walker has amazing luster and nice peripheral toning, which is a winning combination of some of the nicest Walkers.:hail:

Let's try to get this thread a little earlier in the century. Here's one of my nicer early Walkers:

Well once again I don't have anything really nice but this coin means a lot to me.

Here is the coin's story: http://www.cointalk.com/t110995/
I hate the photo, I'll retake it one of these days...

Let's switch over to SLQ's for a while. One of my favorite designs.
