I was browsing the bay and came across the title "Error 2013 Burnished Eagle Struck Through Debris". Do coins with that kind of strike error really carry a premium? In this case it's about 5x US Mint issue price. I'd post the link but being new here I'm not too sure on the link etiquette. Thoughts?
I think it's fine if you post a link as long as it isn't to an item that you are selling. Typically, errors on coins like American Eagles generally don't command that much of a premium, as buyers of these coins either purchase them for silver content, or want a problem-free and clean example. That is not to say that someone WON'T be interested in it, but in my experience these types of errors are not as popular as errors on circulated coinage, especially with struck-through errors, which typically are relatively minor.
