It is likely that there will shortly be limitations on importing ancient Egyptian coins. You can read about it at Peter Tompa's blog site:
    http://culturalpropertyobserver.blogspot.com/2014/04/done-deal-or-not-say-no-to-dictators.html
I went to the government regulations website and commented. He has the link.

I belong to the Ancient Coin Collectors Guild
    http://www.accg.us/home.aspx
which is the one organization devoted to opposing import restrictions. I recommend you join. They say
"100% of all funds collected from memberships and donations to the ACCG are utilized in support of the ACCG's stated mission of promoting and nurturing the free and independent collecting of coins from antiquity through education, political action and consumer protection. "

Click on the "membership" link and help preserve our right to collect ancient coins in the US.

Thanks for posting the link Val. Sounds like a very worthy cause judging from their mission statement.

    I joined today as well.
