there are still bargains and good finds to be had on this side of the pond, on wednesday i went to my local flea market and found 2 scicillian coins which i gave to another collector.
For some reason, it made me think of Game of Thrones. Maybe because it just ended. It's going to be a hard wait to the third season. Stuff like this is why I stay away from eBay for the most part. I hear they have a lot of counterfeit coins. Flea markets too, but if you know your stuff it might be safer - you can pick up the coin, weigh it in your hand, examine it, which you obviously can't do on eBay. I have this impression that counterfeiters focus much more on large silver coins than on small ones. Seems like faking large coins would be more cost-effective, but are small coins really any safer?
