I have a double faced US nickel from 1993... I don't know much about coins. Any information is appreciated . Regards, Miguel migumart@hotmail.com
Howdy migumart - welcome to the Forum !! A coin with 2 heads or 2 tails is very likely a novelty coin. If you examine it under magnification you can probably see where this was done - a seam between the two halves. It will usually be right at the inside edge of the rim. But - genuine examples of this type of error do exist. They are extremely rare however. There are only a handful - 5 or 6 - that have ever been authenticated. These genuine examples are quite valuable.
