    and the die isn't what caused it, it was caused by damage after it left the mint.

    Coingeek, I am sure that if you had looked at your microscopic photo in post 32, you would have noticed the vertical bar of a "5". I also hope it was near face value. If it was represented to you as a silver coin, I would ask that recompensate occur with the other person. Yes, just 10 cents. Keep up the search.
