coin cleaning

    thanks all,
    hey..that could be a good find ENG. i've never found a silver, or attempted to clean one. i'd love to find a fouree...one is on my list. :)

    aaron, i use a metal needle...but be careful. just don't try to dig to much...may want to practice with a toothpick or something first.

    here's the next two, one cull...one somewhat disappointing,

    one on the right could clean up more, but not worth the effort to me. the coin on the left was disappointing, the dirt was covering up the rough spots of what looked like a real nice coin. still a keeper, its a somewhat rare constantius ii (r2 for what it's worth) siscia ric vii 254, don't have one so i'll keep it. 3 more coins from my group of ten, one looks like it will be a dud, one looks promising, one look mediocre...we'll see.
