My wife would like to get me a subscription to a coin magazine/newspaper for an upcoming occasion. As a US collector, what would you say would be the best magazine or weekly that still issues a print version? Any feedback is always welcomed... Thanks!
CoinWorld, Numismatic News, COINS Magazine, Coinage Magazine. The ANA was talking about retailing the Numismatist to the general public but I don't know if they went ahead with that.
I have a digital subscription to The Numismatist with the free ANA membership they were giving away a while back, but didn't even see anything about a print version on their website.
I like Numismatic News (weekly) for more on classic coins and grading. also interesting history behind many issues. Coins mag is alright but has a different slant. over the years I've acquired many good coins at a good price from Numis News classified listings but that's mostly moved online now. you get free listings if your a subscriber.
Coin World is my choice, especially since they have their monthly retail summary for US coins. I get the Numismatist from the ANA but there's very little in it that interests me.
