What was the original price of the 2006 and 2011 sets?

I think the original sales price of the 2006 three-coin set was $100, or pretty darn close to that number. I still have two sets sitting in my safe deposit box that, when last looked at in 2006, were pristine. I keep forgetting to put them on my website or on ebay (D'OH!). If I recall correctly, these sets have settled fairly stably into the $350 or so range.

And what is that to mean?
    It's not a "W".

How do you know this? Are you the seller?

Could be a W put into a P box. Can't tell from the pic. Buyer was happy, so I'm guessing it actually was a W.

I already explained that it would be in a 4 coin gold set holder with the eagle with it.
It's a red case not blue.
Why are you being so stubborn on this. We are just trying to help ease your pain lol

Set is not complete with out the 1995-W, if you collect only the Proof

I know because the seller stated in the bottom part of the listing that the title was in error and that the coin was a P-mint and not a W-mint.

are my odds zero/zilch on getting a 1995-W proof that is not slabbed? You say it was only in the 5 coin set?

You can find them raw, but they won't cost much, if any, less. They were issued in a set in 1995 that also had several gold coins, so if you buy the entire set you will not only have the large value of the 1995-W, but also the bullion value of the gold.

Sure you can get them raw.
But the 4 other coins in the set are almost 2 oz of gold eagles so the set is thousands of dollars.
Raw or graded the coin is not cheap.

The five coin set (Silver Eagle plus 4 gold coins) are readily available on ebay, but you are talking really big bucks.

As you can see by the above, this will be no small investment. I brought the silver coin only to decide later that I wanted the entire set so I added the four gold coins later. Go figure.

If i bought the whole set, it should be pretty easy to dump the 4 gold coins though right?

When I bought my 1995W in 2002, it was through my local coin shop dealer and I knew the owner over many years. He had bought the complete set with the gold coins from an individual, just 24 hours before I purchased this coin from him. Since he was getting a complete turn over on this particular inventory in just one day, he gave me a good price on it. ($2450) It had some light milk spotting and would probably grade as a PR68. He had the gold coins already spoken for. It's being in the right place at the right time and pulling the trigger on it. I had no idea I was going to buy, or even see that coin, when I walked into his store.
