    Don't have an answer yet, but
    1) it's not a coin, perhaps a medal or token
    2) The key emblem is from Bremen, German States
    3) the phrase translates in Latin to "to sail is necessary; to live is not necessary"
    4) I like it.

    I have no idea but it's a cool medal, good luck!

    It is not necessary to live, it is necessary to sail (sonlarson beat me to it :D)

    Thank you for your responses my grandfather fought in Germany and was in with alot of other things including a lot of nazi German currency with ss stamps on them on the notes and a lot of nazi coin
