    what is the different of a dent and a real O? If you can tell me then i can tell you if its a dent or not,

  7. Post Mint Damage. Most probably dropped or banged against other coins in someone's pocket.

    You might be onto something With Extra O

    Im pretty sure it was one of these two places that I saw an article on Second O GWD.

    The entire portrait is covered in dings and scratches. I don't see anything to make that ding special.

    For an extra letter, look for the elevated surfaces that would be created by the engraving in a die. This looks like every part goes inward ? So it's likely the coin was struck with something ? Either a metal chip when the coin was stamped or later by something. die chip or post mint damage is my thought
