1998 penny misstrike?

    What type of error or variety is this? How much can worth? Thanks

    I would estimate it's worth about $5. The further off-center they are, the more off-center strikes are worth.

    Not necessarily GeorgeM. If a cent (wheat for example) has a more considerably larger off center going the opposite way and the date shows, it can be much more than that.

    But graded MS-66 RD $35.00 to $65.00

    I paid $7 for a 1972 D cent 70% off center at 4 o'clock in 1973. still shiny and uncirculated.
