    Hello,

I found this penny today. I was first struck by the partial plating but then noticed how thin and light it was. Also, it doesn't seem to have much if any edging. Anybody know anything about it? Thanks in advance!

Looks like itvhas been damaged, could be a cent that tumbled around in a washer or dryer, or it may have been damaged some other way.
    Keep up the hunt!

I've seen acid dips for zincolns, and from what I have seen, themacid destroys the zinc but does not do as much to the copper plating. Seeing as how this coin shows zinc, I don't think it was acid dipped.
