    Hello all,

Had sad news about my SBA, but a gd new welcome as I am new to this and coin hunting. Well this coin after many days of searching penny rolls I DID NOT FIND; MY 12 yr old daughter did in five minutes. could anyone tell me what the term for this is if any and if it may be worth anything? Oh and yes it will now be handed down to her!!!!!

Better pictures will help. Is the other side offset as well?

If so, it is a minor off-center error.
If not, it is a misaligned die.

Both are relatively common (with the misaligned die being the most common) and generally won't command much of a premium.

Welcome and keep up the hunt!

Misaligned dies (MAD) are particular common on Lincolns from the early-mid 70's. But, they are usually less 'off center' than yours, so yours is probably worth a buck. Not bad!
