    found in a field after an auction i attended yesterday. condition is only for g and f mostly

    That is very similar to the Stack's buying price guide that my grandmother gave me back in 1966. Yes, there were very few grades, and the coin listings were divided into "Common Coins" and "Uncommon Coins".

    I found it in the field. after they held the auction i was at in Crumpton, MD.

    It's fun reading old books or mags about coins and seeing what it was like in the "olden days." Bowers & Ruddy were selling 1955 Lincoln DDO's for 25c in the late 50's. :)
