I'm totally new to coins but I have a bunch and I've suddenly found out that I'm getting a kick out of identifying them and trying to get approximate values. The other day I saw a post in this forum about a 1939 Canadian penny, of which I have one. The thread indicated that the coin might be worth as much as $4.00 depending on quality, but I have no idea of what grading mine would get. Is there anyone who could give me an estimate as to it's grade and value based on the attached photo?

Lower to mid range. About 15 to 25 cents.

    Thanks

That's a great help as I try to get a handle on coin conditions. I'm planning on getting a reference or two but still to ignorant to know what's best.
