And a quick note to the folks that are late to the party, and I won't name any names. But if you missed posting some earlier cents, you are still welcome to do so. As long as you don't pass the current date sessions. ie: posting 1931 cents when we're only at 1915. Be patient, we'll get there
This '11-D has nice surfaces but I have mixed feelings about it due to the splotchy toning on Abe. Been looking for an upgrade for a while. Lance.
This thread will be really nice to just scroll through when we get to the end. One of my favorites just happens to be a 1912! This one is 66 BN
As usual, the Philly outshines the branch mints. The '12-D has some fun strike anomalies. I like the subtle woodgrain on the obverse of the '12-S. I thought the BN '12 was interesting, and it was cheap. But it's overgraded at PCGS 66. Lance.
Wow.. that a stunning set of 12 philly's Robec.... very nice. Hard to follow after that one, so let me bring the bar down a bit.
Some really good looking 1912's out there. Lance's cracked up and jacked up pieces are jaw dropping. These will be a fun next couple dates with all of the funky strikes.
my coins are "junk". then again, if mine could talk, they would tell stories which are more than "i sat in a bank vault" or "i sat in someone's collection for 100 years". POST YOURS!! some of us would love to see them!!!
