I think that's just the lighting, kookoox10. I don't collect Lincoln varieties so I'm no expert, but I thought the doubling on the VDB was to the date and LIBERTY.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, you have some really nice specimens Thad. I see all of the examples you post on coin community on a similar thread and they're always amazing.

Robec actually has the best photos ever taken of this coin (maybe you will post them again here my friend), but this is my best. A true favorite coin of mine, thanks for parting with it, it will never leave my collection.
Passed through Andy Skrabalaks hands to mine at FUN 2008 or 9?.

The obverse looks unique with that color, very surreal. Great looking 1909's, and these 10's are coming along good too!
