Question New Post Display Settings

Why does this board only show the first 5 or 6 "New Post" and not ALL "New Post"? Is this normal? On my Home board, it will show ALL "New Post" since my last visit. Anyone else have this problem? TIA
ps...I hope this is understood. I know that there r more "new Post" than that, I read them and the are new.

I see all posts...if they are new they are at the top and more are at the bottom...
Maybe its a setting on your computer there...try to go to the USER CP at the top...maybe it has something you can change...

Are you logging in from multiple computers? Say, work and home, for example. It's the computer that keeps track of your last visit, rather than the website. So if you visited last night from home, your work computer wouldn't know.

Click on the User CP button at the top of the page.

Click on the Edit Options button on the left side.

Scroll down to the Thread Display section, and find the Age Cutoff display box at the very bottom of the section. A setting of 1 or 2 days should be adequate, unless you only come to the forum once in a while, in which case you might want a longer setting.

Do you stay "logged" in all the time or do you log in, log out when you are done??
When I stay logged in it does it to me....

The problem may be due to the cookie settings on your computer. You must accept cookies if you want to be able to tell the new from the old posts.

I stay logged in almost all the time and have no problems telling new from old. But it is a good idea to clear your cache files and cookies every couple of days. And when you do - you'll have to log back in again.

There's really no need to click on the New Posts link - all new posts will have a small yellow icon on the far left and old posts will be grey, depending on your computers color settings of course.
