Hey guys,
This is my 2nd error ever (and 2nd found in february). Just making sure on here that it is what i think it is. Die crack guys? Looks like it runs from before the U to the E. How rare and whats the value?
P.S. It is a bicentennial Ike

No Expert here! But it sure looks like it based on the pic!! Congrats!!
Very Nice Crack!
Now your challenge is to find that crack or its early version on an MS coin.
Die cracks can be progressive such as this:
to this!
Or this:

That's a good one. I like die cracks.
From what I understand there is little if no value added. You may get a little more from someone who specifically collects die cracks, but they are so easy to find most people won't pay a premium for them unless they are stunning/awesome. I could be wrong, though.
But they are fun to collect!
Very COOL find! Congrats on finding your error on an IKE! WOW!
I bet Stewart and others from the Post and Ike thread would like to see this thread too.
North49Guy,
Nice find
Ike Die Cracks are far and few between
It was easier for me to find my first 1971-D RDV-006 (Friendly Eagle Variety)
Than it was my first Ike with a die crack.
Lee,
Is that an "OH NO" I see you have there in the last two pictures
I still have not found one yet
Stewart
My bad. I guess I was referring to die cracks in general.
Thanks guys!
