Exclamation 1985 Misstruck Lincoln Penny

I received a penny at a local grocery store, and it is off center.

The full date barely hit the coin. It's nearly perfect in shape, unlike some of the other errors I've seen that are like this one. It cuts off Abe's forehead as well as all of the upper words. On the backside, the o in one cent is half there, otherwise it's gone.

Anyone know its worth? I just want to see if my estimate (<$25) is right or not.

azlizzie,

Can you post pictures of both sides of the coin! Once we see it, we can better judge the value! I have quite a few Off-Center Cents that are BU and I know that they will bring anywhere from $5 to $15 on eBay, if I decided to list them.
