Neither of those three coins looks like a proof coin to me. The 1990 no S cent is a proof coin so I don't think you have it. Those all look like normal business strikes to me.

First off, if it is a true proof with no "S", you may have cut the value in half by handling the coin. Any fingerprint could drastically cut the coin's value.

Regardless, it does not look like a proof coin to me. It should literally look like this. I have included a standard coin just to show that it is not my picture.

From what I see, that would be a good dealer to cherrypick because he doesn't seem to know coins. From the picture I'm 99% sure it isn't a 1990 no S proof cent. (and it is still a poor picture.)

I don't think there's any way that's a proof. Sorry. Proofs don't show the normal circular luster, they are more like a mirror. I see the luster of a buisness strike in your photo.

It just happens to be a very good one, is all.

    Sorry it's not something spectacular.

If you can, try to post a better picture if you can. From your pic, I'd say it's not a proof, but a close up with less glare would clear up any doubt.

    Yeah, Dont waste your money.

A lot of dealers know bupkis about errors. This is just a normal business strike cent.

Your local dealer is an idiot.

Or he was just playing with you.

Yes, but a dealer who can't tell if a very recent coin is a proof or not? Sounds like one who doesn't know bupkis period.

I agree with quartertapper; a better pic would help. It looks like a business strike but it is really hard to tell in that poor photo.
